Since 1894, the local Fort Smith Salvation Army has served others. We currently employee 12 employees, plus seasonal workers, and hundreds of volunteers. We serve at-risk individuals and families located in Sebastian, Crawford, Sequoyah, Franklin, Logan, and Scott Counties.

Next Step Homeless Services

The Next Step Homeless Services not only affords people a safe refuge from the street, it also provides a myriad of services ranging from individual case management, hot meals, job counseling, psychological assessment, life-skills training, bicycle rentals, phone availability with after-hours messaging, mail service, budgeting classes, anger management classes and assistance with affordable housing searches.
